March for Life in DC

The March for Life is sponsored by March for Life Education and Defense Fund but is not affiliated with National Right to Life nor North Carolina Right to Life.

The March for Life in Washington, DC takes place each year on or near the anniversary of the U. S. Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade, January 22.  Marchers go to Washington to rally and march for life and to visit with their elected officials in the Congress. The next March for Life, commemorating the 434th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, will take place on January 19, 2018 at the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Buses to March for Life:

Alamance County:A group from this area will be going to the annual March for Life in Washington, DC. We leave about 5;00 a.m. from Flying J Travel Plaza at Exit 150 off I-85/40, attend the Rally on the National Mall at noon, visit our senators and representatives, eat supper in the area, and arrive back home around 1:30 a.m. A bus will be reserved through Harris Travel; cost is $50 per person.  Please send paid RSVPs to me by Jan. 7th.  If we don’t have enough to take a bus (at least 40), we will rent vans and drive ourselves.Spaces are open to anyone who wants to go.  If you are interested, or curious, or want to reserve a spot, please contact me via email, Facebook (Kimberly Perdue Wood), or at 336-586-9211.  I can receive texts at this number.  I can also receive emails on my phone at
