NC Scholarship for Life

Made possible by the generosity of a North Carolina Right to Life supporter, the NC Scholarship for Life provides the funds for students who have been accepted to the NRL ACADEMY and who need financial assistant to attend the academy. Christina Geradts,  pictured on the right, was the first recipient of the scholarship, which began in 2011.  In 2012, Sarah Urzdik, featured on the left below, became the second college student to receive the scholarship and attend the 2012 NRL Academy, held in Washington, DC. William Moore, featured on the right below, is the third recipient of the NC Scholarship for Life and the fifth student from North Carolina to attend the National Right to Life Academy in Washington, DC. Will is from Reidsville, NC and is a  senior at Guilford College, where he is a Political Science major with minors in U.S. History and Economics.  His extracurricular activities include acting as chair for Guilford College Republicans, as well as leading Guilford College Fellowship of Christian Athletes. When not in school, Will has stayed busy with multiple internships for NC Victory, Congressman Howard Coble,  Young Americans for Romney, and some local government offices. In addition to the NC students who attended the academy through scholarship, Teresa Pincus, a 2012 attendee, and Andrew Votipka are students from NC who are graduates of the NRL Academy.
College students interested in attending the academy and/or being considered for the NC Scholarship for Life  should contact our office to let us know that they plan to apply to the academy.  North Carolina Right to Life works closely with National Right to Life in the application process.
