Choose Life Special Registration Plate

 

Currently, there are 122 specialized plates which promote everything from Breast Cancer Awareness, Save the Sea Turtle, Litter Prevention, Save Wildlife Resources to the various NASCAR drivers; yet, the General Assembly is too controlled by the pro-abortion lobby to pass legislation allowing the specialized plate that says "Choose Life."  Several bills have already been introduced during the current short session to allow for even more special registration plates. By their inaction, the leadership in the NC House and Senate shows their contempt for the “Choose Life” message and for using the money from the purchase of these plates to help women choose life and even adoption.  By discriminating against the “Choose Life” plate, their inaction implies that they do not support affirming life over death for unborn children.

Contact the speaker of the NC House, Joe Hackney, at 1-919-733-3451, and the President Pro-Tempore of the NC Senate, Marc Basnight, 1-919-733-6854 to ask them to allow the citizens of this state the opportunity to purchase a "Choose Life" License plate.  The money raised by the sale of the plate would help those agencies which do not promote or perform abortions, but rather help women choose life for their unborn children and facilitate adoptions for those mothers who want that option.
